Jack is back

I let this go for too long. I have to spend time on it now. I wasn't even sure if I'd remember the password, and that's a problem because when I bought a blackberry and a 2 year cell phone contract I also got Internet for it and will finally get rid of the ISP I've had for the last 10 years.

As some of you may or may not know, I drive a cab. One of the many benefits of the occupation are the people who get in and out. I'd had a character in my mind that was vaguely sketched out, and poof, there he was sitting in the front seat on night about a month ago.

Another interesting agent

Ellen Pepus of the Ellen Pepus Literary Agency says she reads the kind of stuff I write. Another set of guidelines to contrast with the existing collection.

Looks like Colleen Lindsay will be the first person who will see the book my alter ego is writing. Make her care. I think I can do it. She has very verbose guidelines for submissions, so I think I can give her exactly what she wants, in terms of form. If she likes it, cool, and if she doesn't, I'll polish it and try someone else.

It looks like a very promising starting point.
